but I used just the USA for my card. Those bears are just too cute not to use on another project, though, so I’m going to have to come up with another idea!
In the meantime, here’s my card:
I wanted to make a card to fit in a remittance envelope…I just happen to like this size card. So, I started with a 6″ x 71/2″ card base, scored at 3 3/4″ of Whisper White. Next I sized the USA to fit, lined it up to the side of the card and “divided” in the modify window, removing all the unnecessary pieces.
I cut the mat for the USA from Night of Navy card stock and the letters from Real Red. I accented the letters with Star Brads from Eyelet Outlet. There was just enough room on the left for a vertical panel, printed in red to match the card stock. I used the Apple Garamond font for those of you interested in such things.
Inside, I created another panel for the sentiment; making sure it didn’t extend beyond the cut edge.
I just love the way this card turned out…those white stars on the bold colors! Hope you like it, too!
