I decided I would cut the pieces of the pumpkin, vine and greeting, which is Lori Whitlock cut file purchased in the Silhouette store, from patterned paper rather than card stock. I opted to use digital patterned paper for the ability to size the pattern to the pieces. In this case I used the Pumpkin Patch kit by NitWit Collections.
I decided to keep the card base very simple and let the combination of patterns do all the talking. As always, I sponged the edges to give added dimension. I can’t stress enough how much I suggest you do this on your projects, too.
A few things “extras” I did to this card include popping the turquoise panel on craft foam. I’ve talked about using craft foam previously. If you missed that, you can find it here. I also brushed the pumpkin and the “thankful” with clear Wink of Stella.
Inside, a simple sentiment. The inside panel is accented using some of the same pieces from the card front, converted to print only. I created the sentiment using Times New Roman and color matched it to the pumpkin.
