Let’s head on it to the classroom to see what I’ve brought you!
My first card uses the Bears with Backpack Sitting CF from our sponsor, Paper Crafting World. I paired it with a Backpack Gift Box I made using a cut file by Megan Hardy. The set makes for a nice way to celebrate “back to school”.
I picked my patterned paper first, Retro from SEI and let that dictate the other colors I used. The blue on the backpack is the flip side of the paper. I used the left over paper to cut the backpack on the card. The bear was cut from scraps as well. The base of the card is Cherry Cobbler. The shimmery red paper has been in my stash forever, but I don’t know where I got it. Before I attached it, I embossed it with the Seeing Spots embossing folder.
Next up a card for a teacher…heck, they have a first day back at school, too. I made this cute card using a cut file from My Scrap Chick. Again I used some ancient patterned paper as well as some buttons and ribbon sitting for at least 10 years.
I wanted to share another picture of this card because you can’t really tell the apple is made from Red Foil paper. The card base and leaf are from a green metallic paper I got from Marco’s Papers.
This card would be perfect for the first day of school. A bit of encouragement in the form of a card made with a cut file from the School Days Kit by SVGCuts. In addition to this cute note card, the kit has a 3D pencil box and school-house box, another card, a layout and a folder full of extras.
I was able to cut this entire card from scraps, mostly Stampin’ Up. The button and bakers twine are also from Stampin’ Up…my go to for mostly everything.
Finally, I want to share a layout of my student, Katy! This was her graduation from Puppy Obedience.
Grab your hall pass, because now you’re off the my talented friend, Christi’s, blog. I know she’s got something amazing for you because I got a sneak peek!
projects are due 11:59 P.M. Friday, September 30th (Pacific Time)
