Rolling in Clover at Paper Crafting World

Before I share my project, I’d like to extend a warm welcome to yazzy and Christine as my newest followers.  I’m so happy you’ve decided to join us.

It’s my day to post for Paper Crafting World.  I opted to use the Clover Shaped Card, a Pazzles Craft Room EXCLUSIVE file.  Perfect for St. Patrick’s Day, just around the corner.  You can find this fabulous file (and many more) in the  Pazzles image library for PCW.  Let me show you the finished product:

As with many of my cards, the color palette started with the patterned paper, Large Polka Dot in Garden Green from Stampin’ Up’s now retired My Digital Studio…I still miss it!  The lighter green was a perfect match to Mint Macaron, also Stampin’ Up.  I sponged the patterned paper after cutting to cover those white edges.  I used Crushed Curry for the card base.

The luscious layers of the flower were all cut from Stampin’ Up scraps.  I sponged all the edges in coordinating colors, ran the leaves through a paper crimper and finished up with a Crushed Curry Candy Dot.  Here’s a closer look at all those layers.

Inside, I printed the sentiment on Whisper White card stock using the American Uncial font.  I found the little verse on the Internet

See you soon with another Paper Crafting World project.  In the meantime, “Top O’ the Mornin’ to Ya”.
