Plumbing Problems with Eyelet Outlet

Yesterday I shared a card about an indoor plumbing project gone awry.  Today I’m sharing a card about plumbing problems of a different sort using the new Pipe Brads and Tear Drop Bling

I have a friend who is dealing with Crohn’s Disease, but she handles it well.  She says a good sense of humor helps get her through it and everything else life has to offer.  So, I know she is going to love this card and appreciate my “dry” humor.

This Inverted Center Step card seemed to be the perfect backdrop for the pipe brads.  This sort of card doesn’t provide much space for an image or text, so I was happy this combination worked out so well.  I’ve created a template to share with you if you’d like it.  It’s on the Hints, Tips & Tutorials page.

The patterned paper reminded me of bathroom tile and it makes sense that it should as it was part of the Bubble Bath Collection by Peppermint Creative.  I pulled the colors for my cardstock from that.

Here’s a look at the inside:

If you missed my post yesterday, here’s another card using the Pipe Brads and Tear Drop Bling.

This card would be perfect for my neighbor, but I am afraid it would make her cry! Maybe she can look back and laugh a few years from now!

Loving catching up on your beautiful designs this morning, Kim! I see you have been as awesomely creative as usual!!

Thanks, Lynn. Agreed! This card is not for everyone…if my friend wasn’t the type who would really get a kick out of this, I would never have made it for her.

I'd love to hear from you. I so appreciate your comments!
