Photo Inspiration at Connie Can Crop

This month Connie Can Crop is having a photo inspiration challenge.

Here is the photo we were given as our jumping off point:

I zeroed in on the flowers peeking out from the bottom and was inspired to make this card using the Tulip Basket Shaped Card by The Cutting Cafe.

I lovely springtime birthday card using a cut file by The Cutting Cafe

As you can see, I have the flowers peeking out of the basket, thus putting them at the top of the frame rather than the bottom.  The basket takes the place of the sky.  I tucked in two butterflies.

I used card stock and patterned paper from my stash, so I don’t really know the brand.  The Gold Glitter Enamel Dots are Eyelet Outlet…I love these glitter dots.  I want them in every color…and they have a lot.  The butterflies were cut and embossed with the Beautiful Wings Embosslits.

The flowers were cut from patterned paper for added interest.

Inside, a simple sentiment:

The sentiment was printed directly on the card base before cutting

If you’d like to more about the challenge or would like to link up your project, just click here.  This month our sponsor is none other than Connie, herself.   One winner, picked at random, will a large stamp set from Close to My Heart.  The team will also pick their three favorite entries who will receive a badge for their blog or social media…plus bragging rights.
