Nothing But the Fox at Eyelet Outlet

One of the new additions to the Eyelet Outlet store are these adorable Fox Brads, so I just had to make a card using them.  Oh, and if you get to the bottom of this post, there’s a give-away!

I used the standing fox, but I’m eager to make another card using the cute sleeping fox as well…so cute!

I created a card base with a peek-a-boo feature, so that I could embellish to my heart’s content but still let the fox be the star of the show.  I used Stampin’ Up’s Peach Parfait, Ruby Red and Garden Green card stocks.  Whisper White was used for all the printing.  In the Woods digital paper by NitWit Collections was used for the tree background. Three trees from the collection were used as a backdrop for the fox.

The greeting, a play on the phrase The facts…and nothing but the facts, may elude some people as my sense of punny is sometimes extreme.  I bet my DT sister, Lauren, got it immediately as she has the same sort of humor which you can see in this post

Here’s a closer look at the fox in the woods and a nice little accent using the Green Glitter Enamel Dots.  I’ve loved these enamel dots since I used them on my very first Eyelet Outlet project.

Inside, I continued with the fox theme.  I thought this was particularly cute for one of my friends who is a “mature” woman.  She will get a real kick out of this!

Do you attend the Stamp & Scrapbook Expo each year?  Well, if you do, you will be excited to hear I’m giving away two vouchers for free admission to any show (except New Jersey as they don’t participate ๐Ÿ™ ).  The vouchers are good for the entire year.   I don’t know about you, but I would love to win these to have that much more money to spend inside the Expo…at the Eyelet Outlet booth!  For your chance to win, all you need to do is leave me a comment telling me how you like to use brads in your crafting or, if you haven’t used them yet, what would you like to try.  If you prefer, you can e-mail me with your response.  Good luck to all who enter!

I love nature cards and this one is cute as can be. Of course remembering Dragnet really dates me, lol.

Well, I remember it, too, so we’re both dated…after I made that I wondered how many people would know what that meant! LOL You know, those youngins!

I forgot to say how I would use brads. I actually used some of the light bulb ones I purchased at the Mega Meet on a card that will show on the CADC for Wednesday’s card sketch. They went well with a stamp I had.

Glad to hear you’re using your stash because soon the new releases will be arriving and you NEED to make room for them! ๐Ÿ˜‰

This is the cutest card! Love the foxes. I have used a couple of the sea theme brads for our son. He is a policeman and loves the beach. Thanks for the chance to win vouchers to the Expo. What a great give-away!

I'd love to hear from you. I so appreciate your comments!
