And here’s my card:
While it may appear my card has yellow in it, the card base is actually acetate. I like using acetate card bases as it’s an unexpected twist. When using them, you just need to be mindful to take steps to cover both sides so no adhesive is peeking out.
I used Stampin’ Up’s card stock; Peach Parfait, Pumpkin Pie, and Tangelo Twist for the pumpkin. For the leaves, a bit of Green Galore and Crushed Cucumber. Finally, the fence was made with scraps of tan card stock. The sentiment inside was printed on Whisper White, I simply tinted the background a pale blue behind my fall words. As with all Miss Kate’s files, there are lots of luscious layers here; so I didn’t have too much of anything to add dimension; just a bit of sponging on the pumpkins as I just can’t help myself.
A look from another angle allows you to see the acetate.
Here’s a close-up so you can see some of the detail in the file:
When you open the card, you see how I covered the adhesive by welding the three pumpkins together.
Inside, I printed the sentiment in brown. I placed it strategically so it wouldn’t peek out from behind the pumpkins.
