Miss Kate Cuttables Challenge-Anything Goes

This month’s Miss Kate Cuttables theme is Anything Goes!

Before I share my card, though, I want to remind you Miss Kate offers a free cut file every day.  To get yours, just click here…but don’t forget to come back!

When I saw this cute little You O-fish-ally Stole My Heart bundle, I wondered how I could best showcase him.  I pulled out the acetate and made him a comfy fish bowl for my design team post for Miss Kate Cuttables

I combined bits and pieces of several cut files and then made some of my own changes.  I sized all the Miss Kate pieces to fit; cutting the fish and seaweed and then print and cut the title.  I cut a square for the bottom “sand”.  All the pieces were cut from scrap…with as much as I say that, you’d think I’d have less taking over my craft room.  Not so!

Here’s another angle so you can see the title better.  I punched a hole in it so I could tie it to the top of the fish bowl with Baker’s Twine.

And here’s a close-up of the little fish.  He looks pretty happy, doesn’t he?  I dotted the bottom with adhesive and sprinkled seed beads for a little pizzazz.

So now it’s your turn to enter the challenge at Miss Kate’s Facebook Group.  The requirements for the challenge is to follow the theme of the month and use a Miss Kate Cuttable’s file in your creation, including any/all freebies you have.  The challenge will run from this evening through the 4th Monday of the month.  Winners will be announced, in the group, Friday of challenge end week.  Remember this month’s it’s anything goes.  Good luck!

See you next month with another Miss Kate’s challenge.

Cute idea, but one you would have to hand deliver, which is why my most special cards end up being for family or very close friends.

Exactly right. I don’t think this would survive the mail…nor would I want to pay the postage, LOL

I'd love to hear from you. I so appreciate your comments!
