My Paper Crafting World has issued a challenge to get our craft on this month with a theme of Anything Goes with an optional twist (the twist being using a stamp).  One requirement to enter the challenge is that you have to use a Paper Crafting World product…that makes sense.  And there are plenty of adorable choices available, but they actually offer free files you can use as well.

My submission for the challenge uses one free file and another I purchased and here’s what I did with them:

I FALL 4 U 1

I accidentally purchased the printable stamp rather than the cut file, darn!  I never worked with them and, oh my gosh, it made putting this card together SO easy!  I made a few changes and additions to the original cut file to make it “my own”.  That’s the beauty of purchasing one of these files…all the design work is done so you can use that as a spring-board and get really creative.

The ingredients used in this card are listed in the gallery as I have many people subscribed who do not make cards and really don’t care to know the specifics.  For those diehards like me, click on the card and it will take you to the gallery.

I hope you take a moment to check out the submissions for this challenge and see the inspiration provided by the design team.

Oh my goodness! What an adorable card! I love the way it turned out! Thank you so much for sharing and participating in our challenge! I am your newest follower and looking forward to seeing more of your fantastic work. I did click on the picture but couldn’t get to your gallery. Thank you again 🙂

LOL, Melin, you caught me! I “always” include additional pictures because I think the inside is just as important as the outside and I like to show little details and such, but I wanted to get this card posted so I didn’t do the inside just yet. When I do, I will add additional pictures and then link the card to the gallery. I am LOVING your files and look forward to participating again real soon! And a huge THANKS for being a follower.

Hey Sarah! Nice to see my blog hop buddy on non blog hop days. I wonder if I found PCW from your blog…I know I linked from someone’s blog. If it was you, thanks!

  6. This card is adorable and I love the way you’ve combined the files and made them your own. I have used Melin’s files for several years and love using them. Thank you for your wonderful project and great information about our challenge.

Well, Larelyn I’m a new to the PCW party, but I can’t wait to get and use more files. I’ve been trolling the Internet for challenges in which I can participate and there are only a handful I would continue with because I have to really have to love the files…no problem with that at PCW!

What a sweet bear with his autumn banner! So adorable, Kim! Wonderful striped background with all the fun fall colors!

    • Kim&Katy says:

Isn’t he? I fell for him the minute I saw him on Paper Crafting World. That striped background matching the bear was pure serendipity and I do love how they combined. I’m looking forward to working more with their files.

That’s right! It was YOUR blog that led me to their door. I’m not sure how I could have forgotten that as I actually commented on it….old age, I guess.
Thank you, Connie, that’s high praise coming from you!

  10. Your card is so adorable! I love the colors you used and the cute bear file. I have always been in love with Melin’s files but especially the bears. You did an amazing job and so glad you joined us for the challenge.
