I’ve been keeping a secret!
I’ve been so excited about this news and, if you knew how hard it’s been for me not to share with you, you’d be really impressed.
So here it is:
I am now a member of Eyelet Outlet’s design team! When I saw the DT call, I jumped at the opportunity to apply. I have been a fan of Eyelet Outlet products for many years now and have purchased oodles of their eyelets, brads, ribbon and more when I go to the Scrapbook Expos.
When they asked why I wanted to be a member of their team I was brutally honest when I responded my reason was a selfish one…this will force me to take those products that I tend to hoard and USE them…I know, what a concept.
My first official post will be a bit later in the month and I’ll be posting every eight days or so thereafter. I’m eager to share my projects with you. In the meantime, if you want to know a bit more about Eyelet Outlet, the products they sell and their trade show schedule, you can check it out here:
Equally exciting, I also want to share I was selected as one of ten finalists at The Craftys Awards in the paper crafting division. This is a nationwide craft competition having 16 categories. I’m thrilled to have gotten this far. I don’t expect to win because more than a few of the finalist projects are extreme paper crafting and are far more deserving. But to me, just being a finalist for the second year in a national competition is a win!
