They are all so cute I wanted to be able to use more than one, so I looked through my sizable collection of stamps and found one I thought would work well. Here’s my card…don’t you think they were meant to go together?
I used a cut file I purchased in the Silhouette store and made a few changes to it; adding some layers so I could incorporate the colors of the Bubble Brads. They were a perfect match to Stampin’ Up’s Lavender Lace, Melon Mambo and Yo Yo Yellow (only the Melon Mambo is current). The digital patterned paper is from the Hoppin’ Easter Kit by Lliella Designs. I color matched it to the card stock, but it sure didn’t print out in the colors I expected…but it still worked.
The stamp is from Stampendous. It’s called Chickie Hop. I used Copic markers to color it and then attached the brads so that each chickie had something to say. Here’s a closer look.
The Lavender mat and the focal image were popped for added dimension.
I thought long and hard about the sentiment I wanted to use inside the card. I knew I wanted to play off the name of the stamp; this is what I came up with.
