Now on with the hop.

You should have arrived here from Silvia Haynes
And now for my hop contribution:
Nothing says thank you like a  bouquet of beautiful flowers, but have you priced a large floral arrangement recently?  Yikes!  Plus they only last for a short week or so and then they’re gone.
Well, this bouquet will last a lifetime as will my gratitude to the very nice friend who will receive this card.  And it has the added bonus of having repositionable flowers so you can arrange the flowers any way you want…actually, that aspect of the card is for my friend’s daughter, who will absolutely love playing with it as she is big into Barbie dolls and loves to play Flower Shop with them.
  Blooming Flowers 1
The bouquet and basket are a Silhouette cut file by Shirley’s Cards.  After cutting the leaves, I ran them through my paper crimper.  The flowers and leaves were placed in the basket with two-way glue which was allowed to dry before I inserted them…that’s how they can be rearranged.  The card stock is Stampin’ Up.  The mini pearls have been colored with Copics to compliment the flowers.  If you click on the card, it will take you to the gallery for additional images.

Thanks for stopping by today your next stop is Card A Day Challenge Design Team

  9. I know was a “blooming flower” hop, but I absolutely love that bear in the trash can. Think of it as a sign for a craft room for all of us who scrounge everything for craft supplies. You are the best!

    • Kim&Katy says:

I love him, too. We got him at the scrapbook expo a number of years ago and I finally dusted him off and used him. So darn cute. And you are so right…he is a good representation of us scrappers.
