We have an awesome sponsor for this month!

Please visit Miss Kate Cuttables HERE.     Follow their blog HERE.    You can find them on Facebook HERE

What do you need to do to win? Easy… become a follower of each of the fabulous blogs in this hop and leave each of them a comment letting them know what you like best about their projects.  You will have until 10 pm Sunday to finish the hop and leave your comments.  Winners will be announced on Wednesday 3/15/17 at Connie Can Crop.  Be sure to follow everyone and leave a comment along the way!

Now to my projects:

First up is a tri-shutter card made mostly with cut files and digital paper from our sponsor this month.  For the focal image, I used the Chocolate Birthday Cake.  I added more candles to it before converting to print only.

I used Miss Kate’s Happy Birthday Paper Collection and Birthday Girl by Zoe Pearn Designs.  The card stock I used is Lucky Limeade and Raspberry Ripple and Whisper White for the print and cuts.

This next project is an adorable little gift card bag I made using a cut file by Lori Whitlock.  I think this design is so clever.  The focal pieces are situated in a shadow box fashion and the gift card is tucked in the back of the bag in its own little pocket.  This file even provides the print and cut images.  I used Peekaboo Peach, Island Indigo and Raspberry Ripple card stocks and acetate for the window.

Finally I have a record player.  There may be a few of you who have never seen one of these.  You have to be “retro” to understand the concept of albums.  To make the card I used some Bee Bop patterned paper by K & Company.  The paper is reversible so I used it for both the base and the mat on top.  To that I added the additional pieces cut from Basic Black, Basic Gray and Cherry Cobbler.

Golden Oldie wm 1

Up next is Sandy!  Hope you enjoy every stop on the hop!

  1. Great job on all 3 projects! The record player is my favorite! It brought back memories of listening to John Denver & the Muppets at my Grandmama’s house when I was a child. That was her way of teaching & entertaining us!

I love your trifold card within a card, how fun! The record player is so nestalgic, happy memories

  21. Love all your cards! I love the record player! My first one was a portable record player that folded up and was scooby doo and had all the characters on the front by the record. When any music played the characters danced and I just LOVED it! It was the coolest thing! But it only played 33’s or 45’s were just coming out. I dont have many childhood memories AT all but that is one of the few. It was the before the big “M”. So I had to be around 3. Anyhow, you are sooooo talented and love seeing what you have up your sleeve every time! <3 you!

  22. Shannon Hinders says:

Love all of them. So fun hoping with you!
