Regina of The Cutting Cafe has asked us to share our craft spaces with you this month. I don’t know about you, but I love seeing pictures of people’s’ craft rooms as I’m always looking for new and creative ways to tame the chaos that can so quickly take over.
I did a Behind the Scenes post several years ago. There have been some changes since then, but I’m also sharing some favorite ideas I doubt I will ever change.
One of my favorite storage solutions is this revolving card stand for my embossing folders. It’s the perfect size for the folders to slide right in.
I keep an album nearby with samples of each.
When I’m looking for the perfect folder to use, I bring the album to my craft table and look through, pulling out the samples and placing them with my project.
The storage solution for my stamp/die sets came from Jennifer McGuire and I love it. Here is the link for her most up to date information on her system and the products she uses. I bet stock for the manufacturer of these refrigerator containers has risen since Jennifer made her video. I really like having my stamps and dies together in one spot and, wow, what a space saver!
One refrigerator container holds close to 90 stamp/die sets. The containers with just the stamps hold even more. I don’t generally get rid of stamp sets, but just in case I ever decide to that, I keep a few cases and the inserts.
I have a new storage cabinet by Martha Stewart. Putting it together almost killed me, but I got it done! It holds SO much and is directly behind my chair so virtually everything is at my fingertips.
