Among Eyelet Outlet’s Spring Releases are these adorable Yoga Cats Brads

I couldn’t wait to work with them on a card.  And here it is:

Be the Birthday wm 1

I wanted to use several brads, so I thought this Flip Flap 3 Circle Card by Lori Whitlock would be perfect.   Those circles are just the right size for the cats!  Not being a yoga enthusiast myself, I wasn’t sure how these yoga poses should be situated, so I did some research and discovered the first pose is the Balancing Stick, the second is the Lotus and the third is the Half Moon.

I wanted to find some Asian themed digital paper, and I opted for this pattern from Panda Zen by Lliella Designs.  I matched the green to a Bazzill card stock I had on hand.

When I finished with the card front, I felt the colors were a bit too cool for the little lotus cat, so I took my Gold Wink of Stella and dotted the centers of the leaves.  Once I did that, all was harmonious. 😉

Be the Birthday wm 12

For the inside flap, I wanted the sentiment relating to yoga, so this is what I finally decided upon.  I think it works…it might even hold up to someone who knows a thing or two about yoga.

Be the Birthday wm 9

I printed it on Smokey Slate card stock in dark gray using the Ancient Script font.

I guess that wraps it up except to say, “namaste”!

This card has been entered in the Cute Card Thursday: Challenge 478 Brads!

I looked at those brads since my daughter likes both cats and Yoga, but decided I had enough in my cart, lol. So fun.

That’s why we have wishlists, LOL What did you get?

Too many to list because I purchased 11 sets, some of which were marked down, then I discovered two baskets in which every package was only $1 each. Some were not in their original packaging, but on others I am not sure why they were marked down since they were the same as the full priced ones. But anyway a bargain is a bargain, so I bought 21 of those sets, lol. I do have some ideas for cards in the next couple of months.

I'd love to hear from you. I so appreciate your comments!
