Now let’s salute this great country!
I tried something a little different for this hop…clean and simple cards. I don’t know why, but CAS cards are so much more difficult for me.
My first card uses a cut file purchased in the Silhouette store. I “filled” the pieces with digital patterned paper from the Stars & Stripes by Peppermint Creative. It looked a bit blah when I dry fit them, so I embossed the square panel with the Stars embossing folder and the quilt pieces with the Tiny Stars embossing folder. I inked around the edges of everything before mounting them on a mat of Night of Navy with a matching center medallion. A few enamel stars to finish and the card was done.
I made this card with the USA cut file from The Cutting Cafe. I filled the letters with patterned paper from the American Made Collection by J Baechtold. Once I attached them I ran the entire front of the card through the Tiny Stars embossing folder. I added the little I “heart” and coated it with Glossy Accents.
And for my last card (and least favorite), I printed a Subway Art panel and added a bit to it by coating the God Bless America with Glossy Accents, inserting Eyelet Outlet Star brads.
Now kindly hop on over to my friend and blogging buddy, Amanda’s, blog.
Here’s our amazing line up in case you get lost:
