Now to my projects:
First, a shaped leaf card. To make this, I traced a leaf from an image from Stampin’ Up’s My Digital Studio. Converting it to a card was fairly simple. First, I tilted the image until two leaf tips were level at the bottom allowing the card to stand. Next, I created a mirror image, making sure the stem and another leaf tip met. As my final step, I welded them together. I created an internal offset for the front piece into which I cut the leaf veins and then embossed with the D’Vine Swirls Embossing Folder.
I cut two smaller leaves from patterned paper and wrinkled them before attaching them with the greeting, ribbon and some Eyelet Outlet bling.
Next, another autumn themed thank you with a focus on Copic coloring. I find coloring like this very relaxing but it does take a long time to finish, so I don’t do it as much as I would like. I placed it on a mat cut from a Stampin’ Up patterned paper, Well Worn. Everything is set off nicely with a card base of Night of Navy cardstock.
This card was so simple to create with a Silhouette store cut file #51471. I cut it from Real Rust cardstock and popped it on a base of Crumb Cake. I cut a little tag and leaf from the same two card stocks for an accent and attached it with Linen Thread. Just like I said; simple…and easy. Gotta like that, right?
Last, a simple but effective thank you card for any occasion. I typed the “Thank You”, created a slight offset which I welded to the heart and centered on a square card base of Cherry Cobbler card stock. I cut the letters and backer from Whisper White. I think I’m going to give this to my cardiologist on Valentine’s Day…I think he’d appreciate it since he did keep my heart beating more than a time or two.
Now, it’s time to hop on over to the talented Holli’s blog.
And don’t forget to join our current challenge
