They are giving away:

Nice!  Right?

And to enter the giveaway all you have to do is comment on the blogs in today’s hop.
We always appreciate you becoming a follower of the blogs as well.

You should have arrived here from the talented Denise.

Here are my projects for today’s hop:

I never liked bugs, to be honest, but this hop has cured me of that because now I can’t decide which bug I like best!  Which one do YOU like best?

Up first, my Ladybug card and gift box, both Silhouette cut files.  The card is intended for a little girl’s birthday.  If you click on the card, it will take you to the gallery to see the cute sentiment just perfect for the card.  The gift box is small, but is just the right size for a gift card.  I have to admit, I opt to give them as gifts a lot these days because there’s never a problem with size or color, etc.  To prevent this post from being overly long, all the details about the assembly of this card and box (and the others projects as well) can be found in Tutorials (on the toolbar) with additional pictures in the gallery.

Ladybug Birthday 8

Next up, the bees!  I created my own cut file for the beehive card, so I’m happy to share it.  The bee is a Silhouette store cut file.  I wanted this bee to “buzz about” too, but it was too small for the Action Wobble Spring I used on the Ladybug, so I made my own and I share how I did that in the tutorial.

Un-BEE-lievable 1

I started collecting bee themed quotes and sayings I found on the Internet and have compiled quite the list.  You can find it here.

And last, there’s the creepy, crawly spiders with a coordinating candy gift box.  This has a Halloween theme because…well, I just can’t think of another occasion for which I would send a spider card.  I used a number of patterned papers and I have to say, I love how this turned out.

Creepy 1

Thanks so much for stopping by my blog today.  Remember to check out the additional pictures and tutorials.

Your next stop on the hop is my blog hop buddy Alicia.

    Nice job Kim!

    • Kim&Katy says:

Thanks, Marcie! Nice to hear from you. Hope you are doing well and cutting up a storm on your Silhouette.

  2. Angela Corcoran says:

They are all adorable! I love your lady bug set the most though ๐Ÿ™‚

    • Kim&Katy says:

Yup, Angela, I think that was my favorite of the three. I especially like it with the sentiment inside…I’m not much of a poet, but even I can come up with a four line poem that rhymes.

  3. Kim these are fabulous. Think I need to go check your tutorials out.

    • Kim&Katy says:

Thanks so much Tristan…if you do check out my tutorials, let me know if you think they’re easy enough to follow.

  4. Oh, my goodness those projects are super super adorable TFS your talent & great hopping with you

  5. I just love all the projects! The box with all the paper is gorgeous though!!

    • Kim&Katy says:

Thanks so much Alicia. I have to admit, I like that box a lot myself. The instructions with the cut file weren’t all that clear. If I make it another time, I will have to change it up a bit for a better fit.

  6. Theresa says:

Kim, all three projects are amazing! I’m glad you’ve become a bug lover.
    Thanks for hopping with me.

    • Kim&Katy says:

Thank you Theresa! If I’m a bug lover now, it’s all because of you. Thanks for allowing me to be part of your hop. Looking forward to the next!

  7. Nancy Frezzo says:

they look beautiful and so cute!

  8. rhonda says:

very nice creations. i love them. that bee hive is devine. would you like to share it ?

    • Kim&Katy says:

Sure, Rhonda, I’m happy to share any file I create. I just need to clean it up a bit before I send it to you as my files are always cluttered with all the various attempts before I come up with the finished project. Are you working with a Silhouette? Or I can save it as an .svg or a .pdf

  9. LINDA says:

I love love love all of your projects,,, you are so talented…. ๐Ÿ™‚

  10. I love all the bright colors! It was fun hopping with you! ๐Ÿ™‚

    • Kim&Katy says:

Oh you should. It was such fun to make. I have the tutorial up in the tool bar if you wanted to see some changes I made…there are so many companion cut files to this card, too. Let me know if you want me to send you the cut file for the sentiment inside.

  12. allison donahue says:

  13. Anna Carpenter says:

Love them all but love the lady bugs most!!

  16. these are so adorable…I keep forgetting to use my cut files I’ve collected…..great inspiration.

    • Kim&Katy says:

Sarah, I use mine all the time! But I also have a Cricut I rarely use and I know I have some really adorable cut files so I know just what you’re saying.

I'd love to hear from you. I so appreciate your comments!
